Choosing a foundation for dry skin is not a difficult task. However, not everyone is able to cope with this on their own - it’s easy to get confused in the modern range of products. In order not to make a mistake when buying a suitable foundation, first of all you need to choose the tone - every girl knows this and is able to cope with it on her own. The situation is much more complicated with other criteria:
- Compound. Since dry dermis needs additional hydration and nutrition, and foundation creams themselves dry out the epidermis, the foundation must contain moisturizing and nourishing components: hyaluronic acid, urea, plant extracts, natural oils, antioxidants (vitamins A, E, C).
- Skin phototype. If the skin is pale, then the composition must contain SPF filters. If you are the lucky owner of a dark complexion, then there is no need for such products.
- Having allergies. An allergic reaction can occur to any component of the composition, no matter how natural it may be. In addition, it is noted that allergies to natural products (including tonal ones) occur more often than to synthetic ones. - Undertone. This is an admixture of additional color in the main tone. It can be cold (blue, pink), warm (yellow, peach, golden, olive) and neutral. It depends on how well a particular foundation suits you. Manufacturers always indicate this parameter.
