Lipomas that occur on the forehead are divided into two types:

1. Milia are small, yellowish-white, grain-shaped acne caused by clogged pores. Their size does not exceed 3 mm.
2. Xanthelasmas are flat, yellowish plaque-like formations protruding above the surface of the skin. They are relatively larger in size - up to several centimeters and, unlike milia, tend to grow in the subcutaneous tissues.
