Badyaga against age spots: a miracle remedy or another beauty myth?

Gel “Heparin with badyaga” is a direct anticoagulant for external use. The gel has anticoagulant, anti-inflammatory, decongestant and analgesic effects. Prevents the formation of blood clots, improves microcirculation and activates tissue metabolism, accelerates the processes of resorption of hematomas. The gel is intended to reduce the risk of blockage in damaged veins and normalize blood circulation in small vessels. The gel successfully combines sodium heparin, badyagi, horse chestnut and arnica extracts. Thanks to its structure, the gel is quickly absorbed into the skin and does not leave greasy stains.

Active components

  • Heparin sodium is a direct anticoagulant; it blocks thrombin biosynthesis, inhibits the formation of fibrin from fibrinogen, reduces platelet aggregation and inhibits the activity of hyaluronidase. When applied locally/externally, heparin, which is gradually released, has antithrombotic, anticoagulant, decongestant and moderate anti-inflammatory effects. Promotes the resorption of existing ones and prevents the formation of new blood clots. Improves microcirculation and activates tissue metabolism, thereby accelerating the processes of resorption of hematomas, blood clots and reducing tissue swelling.
  • Horse chestnut extract is a venotonic agent of plant origin for local and systemic use in cases of venous circulation disorders, and, first of all, in case of venous insufficiency. The effect of horse chestnut extract is associated with the presence of the flavone glycoside esculin and saponin escin. Esculin reduces the permeability of capillaries, stimulates the antithrombotic activity of blood serum, increases the production of antithrombin in the vascular system, and increases blood flow to the veins, especially if there are pathological changes in them. Escin has a pronounced capillary protective activity and has an anti-inflammatory effect.
  • Arnica extract stimulates blood circulation in the skin and activates tissue respiration. Has anti-inflammatory properties. Glycosides, which are part of the extract, contribute to a calming and analgesic effect.
  • Badyagi extract has anti-inflammatory and anti-edematous effects, relieves local pain.
  • Cypress essential oil relieves fatigue, fights swelling, and helps eliminate capillary patterns.

The word “forte”, present in the name of the medicinal product, indicates a high concentration of the main substance and its strong effect.

Doctors' opinion

Increasingly, cosmetologists use the drug during procedures. However, not all dermatologists recognize the remedy as effective and consider it popular. But careful use is allowed, but only locally. Before use, it is important to consult a doctor so as not to harm yourself. Basically, the opinions of experts agree on one thing: traditional medicine cannot replace full-fledged treatment. Therefore, badyaga is considered as an additional source of relief from skin problems.

Disadvantages of the drug

The sponge is of natural origin. Therefore, badyaga (powder) for post-acne is suitable for many categories of patients. However, experts in the field of cosmetology and dermatology warn that the substance is not as harmless as it seems at first glance. If used for too long a period of time or uncontrolled, adverse reactions may occur. Most often, users complain about the following unpleasant symptoms:

  • allergic manifestations in the form of rash, redness and burning;
  • decreased skin elasticity;
  • cyanosis of the skin;
  • risks of skin diseases;
  • sunburn when exposed to the sun during treatment.

However, experts say that if you follow the rules of use and do not violate the instructions, side effects can be avoided.

Reviews from cosmetologists

  • skin regeneration processes occur much faster in most patients;
  • the stratum corneum of the epidermis is quickly and carefully cleansed of dead scales;
  • the overall appearance of the face improves, which is confirmed by many women;
  • dark spots that were caused by increased pigmentation become much lighter;
  • scars and acne marks are smoothed out and are almost invisible;
  • with regular use, the activity of the sebaceous glands decreases;
  • pores become narrower and cleansed;
  • small wrinkles are smoothed out;
  • acne gradually disappears, and no traces of its manifestation remain on the face.

Many women note the beneficial effects of using the drug. The big plus is that the anti-acne remedy can also be used in adolescence, when many products are prohibited.

Post-acne - what is it?

Badyaga for post-acne has found wide application in cosmetology; it is often used not only at home, but also in beauty salons. But not everyone knows why the problem occurs and how to get rid of it. To understand what post-acne is, you should find out the mechanism of acne formation.

The dermis secretes fatty secretions. It is necessary to protect the skin from harmful environmental conditions, as well as to moisturize it. But sometimes the fat is released too intensely or acquires a thick consistency. In this case, it clogs the ducts, thereby provoking an inflammatory process and the formation of acne. In addition, dirt, dead epidermis, dust, and particles of cosmetic products accumulate in this place, which leads to infection.

If you do not receive proper care and adequate treatment during this period, the inflammatory process enters the chronic stage, and acne is diagnosed. The skin loses its ability to quickly recover, and secondary changes appear on it. Squeezing pimples and other unacceptable manipulations also lead to injury. As a result, even after complete elimination of acne, visible traces remain - post-acne.

What is this?

Badyaga is a water sponge and is an organic substance. It is formed from microscopic needles, but the base is flint. That is why the body of a substance is always very solid. As the badyaga grows, it takes on the shape of a bush and can reach a height of 20 centimeters. The habitat is considered to be only fresh water bodies, where water is constantly renewed. However, despite the excellent growing conditions, the substance has a very unpleasant aroma, in some it even provokes a gag reflex.

In pharmacies, the drug is often sold in powder form, which has a gray-green color and an unpleasant odor. To produce it in pharmaceutical factories, sponges are dried and ground until smooth. The product is active for two years after packaging. To take advantage of the healing properties of badyagi, it must be diluted with a small amount of water, then applied to problem areas. However, developers do not stand still; they offer more tailored products for consumers - gels and ointments. Such preparations are easy to use, they have an optimal structure and a pleasant smell.

Analogs

There are several types of preparations based on freshwater sponge powder. Different manufacturers combine the healing properties of the sponge with other plant components, resulting in a slightly improved drug, but with a different name. Analogues of the active substance are:

  • Spongilan;
  • Badyaga-forte + horse chestnut gel;
  • Badyaga-gel “7 notes of health”;
  • Badyaga body gel, etc.

Drugs that have the same mechanical effect are called synonyms. For example:

  • Camphor;
  • Rizaxil;
  • Mentoclar;
  • Levomenthol;
  • Gorchichnik and others.

Signs of a problem

Badyaga for post-acne is often used, because it has peeling properties. It is justified to use it if the following signs are present on the face:

  • enlarged pores;
  • scarring;
  • redness in healing areas;
  • pigmented areas;
  • small scars from nodes and pustules.

Badyaga refers to medications that are also used for hematomas, contusions, hemorrhages and bruises. Judging by the reviews, gels, ointments and creams based on it work well with multiple signs of post-acne. Purification occurs due to the influence of microscopic needles of a natural sponge, as well as spicules - solid particles of the skeleton of multicellular freshwater animals.
